Is the Park in good condition, attractive and well run?

Willow View Park has been re-developed to an extremely high standard. The park will ultimately have 49 New Park Homes on site. Willow View Park is a mature park with plenty of mature trees and shrubs it is in an elevated position with stunning views across the Devonshire Countryside. The Park is well run by Gordon and Claire Podbury.

 

Is the owner a member of either the British Holidays and Home Park Association or the National Park Homes Council?

Willow View Park is a member of the BH & HPA. The National Park Homes Council 10 Year Gold Shield Warranty Scheme covers all new Park Homes.

 

What are the current pitch fees, and how often are they reviewed?

Pitch fees are currently set at £36.79 per week and this includes sewerage charges, these are reviewed annually.

 

What are the other outgoings? Is the electricity or gas purchased through the site owner?

Electricity and Water is supplied direct from SWEB and South West Water. LPG Gas is supplied via underground pipes to each home from bulk tanks on the Park. Band A Council Tax is currently set at £1069.63 from 1st April 2016.

 

How far are the local amenities?

The Village of Whimple is approximately two miles away, here you will find the village shop, post office, St Mary's Church, a purpose built Doctors surgery and two pubs. The village is extremely friendly, and the Whimple news magazine is circulated every two months to keep you informed of what's going on.

 

The town of Ottery St Mary is about three miles away; here there are a variety of shops, along with a library and the Coleridge medical centre. The medical centre also holds a surgery a couple of times a week in the new purpose built branch surgery in Whimple.

 

What about visiting Grandchildren and pets?

Whilst we will only accept residents over the age of 50 years, visiting family and Grandchildren will be welcome for short stays.  We allow small pets and cats, but sorry no Dogs.

 

Does the park have a site Licence?

Willow View Park has a full residential site licence, this is displayed on the Park notice board.

 

Does the park have planning permission as a permanent residential park?

Willow View Park does have permanent planning permission and all homeowners are protected under the 1983 mobile homes act.

How to find us

From either the westbound or eastbound direction on the M5, take the Exeter exit (Junction 29) and follow signs for the new A30 trunk road in the London direction.

 

On the A30, drive 8 miles and exit at the Daisymount junction. Take the first left turning at the roundabout signposted 'Rockbeare and Whimple'.

 

Follow this road and take the next sharp right turn signposted 'Larkbeare and Fairmile'. Follow the road for a quarter of a mile and Willow View Park is signposted on the right.

 

The same applies to those travelling westbound (towards Exeter) from the Honiton direction on the A30 trunk road. Simply exit at Daisymount and follow the directions above.
